GUIDELINES FOR RENEWAL STICKER OF CDC


  • Please go to www.dgshipping.gov.in, click E Governance and update your profile. Then apply online.
  • Candidates are requested to consider applying for replacement CDC instead of  renewal sticker, especially when the pages of old CDC are expected to be  getting exhausted shortly or are torn/damaged/faded/mutilated/multi stapled.  This will save the other application for replacement CDC. However, if the   candidate wishes to apply for renewal CDC then he may follow the steps below.
  • Before applying online, please open the CDC checker for checking the  correctness of CDC details.
  • If the CDC details are not found in the checker, you are requested to follow the   instructions there into get the CDC details updated.
  • If CDC details are found in the checker, but the date of validity is not updated,  then you may please send an email to concerned Shipping master for updating of dates.
  • IF CDC details are found in the checker, but the INDOS number is not reflected or is reflected incorrectly, then please fill the excel sheet given in the checker and mail the same to the concerned Shipping Master. www://dgshipping.gov.in
  • Upload the photograph in white shirt and light background in the specified scan  field area(100KB). For uploading of photograph, please scan only the photograhand not the entire page on which the photograph is placed.
  •  Upload a self attested copy of your passport(Photopage, Biodata page & Address Page). 
  • Upload self attested copy of your CDC pages containing your photograph & biodata etc
  •  Upload self attested CDC page with endorsement, observation viz. Renewal,   Correction, ILO Stamp, addendum etc.
  • Candidates are informed that the application would be treated as complete onlyafter payment of fee online and uploading of all the documents.
  • Renewal sticker would be issued within 7 working days of application.
*Note: Processing fees are to be paid Online while applying through DGS website 
and no other mode of payment are accepted.
